Description

Ever since coffee was discovered it has been spreading all over the world. The taste and effect of coffee is adored and acknowledged in most cultures.

The CafeSolo coffee-maker makes original coffee. Brewed on the basis of the original method. Without steam or pushing and pulling. Without machinery and filters. Simply coffee beans and water.

Spoon the ground coffee into the glass flask and add boiling water. Stir for 10 seconds and place the drip-free filter funnel in the flask. Wait 4 minutes and pour.

We have developed the brewing method with a dose of design and innovation in order to get the most out of the coffee beans. Coffee has never been better – or easier to make.

The fundamental way to brew coffee is as follows:

1. Spoon ground coffee beans into the glass flask. Use 25-35 grams (0.9-1.2 oz) for 0.6 liters (20 fl oz) and 45-60 grams (1.6-2.1 oz) for 1 liter (34 fl oz), depending on the strength of coffee required. Use normal ground coffee. It is not necessary to use specially ground coffee beans.

2. Put on the cover and add boiling water. Only fill up to the bottom of the neck of the jug.

3. Stir with the stirrer enclosed for at least 10 seconds, or until the ground coffee is thoroughly mixed
with the water.

4. Place the filter funnel in the glass flask and the flip-top lid in the filter funnel. Allow the coffee to brew for 4 minutes. The coffee is now ready to serve.

It is easy to brew coffee using the CafeSolo™ coffeemaker if you follow these tips:

• Ensure that the parts are clean with no soap residue. Old coffee stains leave a bad taste and soap residues destroy the flavor, resulting in a flat taste.

• Ensure that the neoprene cover is completely dry before putting it on the glass flask. Otherwise the evaporation will cool the coffee.

• Always use freshly boiled water. The natural mineral content of the water enhances the brewing process while water which has been heated previously gives a poorer taste. Always fill the kettle with fresh, cold water and do not boil more than you will use for making the coffee. This also saves energy.

• Do not stir the coffee with a metal implement as this will cool the water unnecessarily.

• Do not make more coffee than you can drink in 30 minutes. If the coffee needs to keep for longer, pour it into a vacuum flask. Ideally, brew fresh coffee

Cleaning your Eva Solo CafeSolo

As mentioned previously, it is extremely important that all the parts are clean with no soap residue. The CafeSolo™ coffee-maker has been specially developed to ensure that it is easy to clean all the parts that come into contact with the coffee.

The easiest option is to put all parts in the dishwasher – except the cover. If you prefer to wash the parts by hand, thoroughly rinse with clean water before drying. It is also best to use unscented dishwashing detergent, as the perfume can impart a disagreeable taste.

If you clean the flip-top lid manually, it is possible that the metal disc becomes separated from the rubber part. However, it is easy to reattach as described previously, especially if the rubber handle is first moistened with water.

The rubber seal on the filter funnel can be removed when the parts are wet. Wet the seal with water before reattaching.

The neoprene cover is machine-washable at 30°C, but must not be tumble-dried. Position it with the zip open and leave standing until it is completely dry. The most gentle method is to rinse the cover under running water and then press away any excess water with a towel or drying-up cloth before putting it somewhere to dry. You can purchase extra covers from the store where you purchased your CafeSolo™ coffee-maker.
