The Elektra Semiautomatica SX is a semiautomatic machine from the family coffee machine range. From the beautifully crafted eagle that sits majestically on the dome of the machine to the sultry roundness of its shape, every little feature on this superb piece oozes style and elegance. It comes in a copper and brass body with bakelite handle on the portafilter. Its unique heat exchanger system allows the water to reach the exact espresso temperature so you can get the most flavor out of your espresso drinks. The durable brass boiler provides very dry steam for perfect milk frothing and the steam wand is extended so it stands further away from the boiler. The SX also features a top loading water basin for easy refill and continuous water delivery. This means you don't have to shut down the machine to refill it like hand lever models. It is also equipped with a three way solenoid valve to relieve pressure in group head when finished extracting espresso to avoid "espresso burst" while you remove the portafilter handle.
