Description

The Clover 1s Machine

The Clover 1s is the first of its kind: a single-cup, commercial grade coffee brewer designed specifically for the cafe and retail environment.

How does it work?
The machine employs what we call Vacuum-Press technology, which - for the first time - combines two methods considered best for brewing coffee: the "French press" and the vacuum brewer. Individually, these home brewing technologies have sufficed for more than 100 years. But they have drawbacks in the fast-paced retail environment, including the fact that they take five minutes or more to deliver their brew, and can be awkward and messy.

With the Clover 1s, quality is maintained but time is reduced to about a minute. Grind size, coffee dose, water temperature, water volume, and extraction time-are all at the barista's fingertips. And with a single swipe and a wipe, clean up is simple. Plus, since each cup is brewed individually, they can be adjusted cup-by-cup, using Clover's simple yet sophisticated interface.

Best of all, Clover is a new and powerful way to reach your customers. A way to expand the dialogue about coffee, to introduce new varietals, and to discuss their origins. And ultimately, to help you build your business by turning coffee fans into coffee fanatics.

OK, really... Why Clover

Your beans deserve it.
As a barista or retailer, you work hard to provide great coffee. And so does the entire industry. And yet it's here at the end of the line, just before brewed coffee makes the leap to the customer, that quality is often in danger. Why? Because with the wrong brewing equipment, even great coffee can only reach mediocre status. With Clover, you'll get exceptional coffee every time.

Your business can bank it.

Clients using Clovers in their retail environment report a 20% increase in brewed and whole-bean coffee sales. Use Clover to sell single-origin coffees, different blends and boutique coffees. Also tap into a bigger market for brewed coffee hardware and accessories, such as press pots, Melitta pour overs, and Vacuum Pots.

Your stock room will love it.

An average retailer dumps 30% of their product down the drain every day, as a result of having to turn over their air pots every 20-60 minutes, depending on quality standards. That's 30% of your stock completely wasted. Once you do the math, you can see how Clover pays for itself.

Competitors don't have it.

The Clover is not for everyone. But it's ideal for retailers that are ready to up their quality - and their advantage - over the industry's numerous competitors. Having Clover is just another way of differentiating yourself, underscoring your commitment to quality, and providing a standout product for your customers.

Customers dig it.
The Clover is an experience. Something your customers will enjoy. Placed prominently, they can watch and smell their own coffee brew, discuss it with their barista, and enjoy the experience like never before. Plus, programs such as a "Coffee Passport" can educate them on single-origin coffees, and help them cultivate their own palate.
