The EP5 Espresso Tamp handle is a classic yet comfortable tamp handle design beautifully executed in Cocobolo wood and inlayed with our own version of the Jolly Roger. No doubt this will prove to be yet another popular tamp.
Cocobolo is a very beautiful wood, known to change color after being cut. The heartwood is typically orange or reddish-brown in color, often with a figuring of darker irregular traces weaving through the wood. The sapwood is a creamy yellow and contrasts sharply with the heartwood. It is fine textured and oily in look and feel, and stands up well to repeated handling and exposure to water.

This our 5th coffee tamp handle design is available in 4 types of wood (Ebony, Cocobolo and Bocote) as well as in a handful of Polyurethane colors and styles.
This coffee tamper utilizes the EspressoParts espresso tamp pistons and are available in your choice of flat or convex packing surfaces in all the popular sizes including 58mm, 57mm, 56mm, 55mm, 53mm, 52mm, 51mm & 49mm. These are the same tamp pistons used by all four of the last North American Barista Champions. Professional tamps equal professional results.
